Integrative psychiatry is a holistic, patient-centered approach to mental healthcare that combines Western psychiatric practices - like medication and psychotherapy - with evidence-based complementary and alternative therapies. It considers the “whole person” (mind, body, and spirit) with the goal of addressing the root causes of mental health conditions. Integrative psychiatry is attentive to the physical, emotional, interpersonal, behavioral, nutritional, environmental and spiritual dimensions that affect both distress and psychological wellness.

As a psychiatrist, I have extensive psychopharmacological experience from years of working in diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, Psychiatric Emergency Services, and Consult-Liaison Services. My offerings are unique in that I also have undergone additional specialized psychotherapy training, including Internal Family Systems Level 1, as well as on online integrative psychiatry fellowship. Personally, I am a co-adventurer on the path of tuning in, exploring healing practices and opening to growth. All of this helps me hold a wider container in our work together.

No, I am out-of-network with insurance plans and do not accept Medicare. All services are charged through Square at the time of your appointment. If you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company for out-of-network services. I can provide a detailed invoice that you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

As I have a small practice and all services are via telehealth, I am not able to offer intensive services. If you require more intensive treatment, for example, if there are active safety concerns that might require hospitalization, then I recommend that you work with a clinician who offers in-person appointments as well as a wider range of supports.

Currently all visits are virtual via HIPAA compliant telemedicine.

Areas of focus in my practice include but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, attachment disruption, grief/loss, life transitions, stress, burn out, exploring purpose and meaning, finding authenticity, and women’s mental health. As a solo practitioner in private practice without support staff, I am unable to offer care for those with severe mental illness and/or those on complex medication regimens that require frequent monitoring.
